Just be careful if your baby is a small Yorkie. My late Jilly choked trying to swallow a tied end she'd chewed off, went crazy digging at her face, fighting for breath when it stuck in her pharynx, swelled, cut off her breathing. I had to breathe for her when she went quiet, limp in one arm while I drove to the vet after 10 pm with the other and will never know how either of us made it there alive! I was panicked! But thankfully we did both make it but I will NEVER allow another toy dog to have those chewies with a big tied end - they can chew it off and when trying to swallow, it can lodge in the throat! Vet said she was lucky to be alive.
