Desi was very stand-offish when we first got her at 12 weeks. It was almost like she didn't care about us unless we had food in our hands. But, as she became older she started to change. Now, at one year old she is completely different. If I leave her for a few minutes even to go downstair to the laundry room, she greets me like I've just come home from being gone all day. And, talk about wet doggy kisses... I have more than I know what to do with !!
