 New puppy help
I brought home my first yorkie puppy two days ago. She is 8 weeks old and freaks out if I leave her alone for even a second. I have her set up with a crate that she sleeps in at night and is sleeping in now with the door open. But if I close the door she freaks out and starts biting it horribly. I have the kitchen and laundry room sectioned off with a baby gate and she chews that as well. Any advice on how to keep her from howling and barking when I try to leave and to not bite the bars of the crate and gate? She sleeps in the crate at night just fine but I am right there. Thanks! |
