I do too thank all the troops for what they do everyday. And I tell my husband all the time how proud I am of him. I have a lot of military in my family... No, my husband has not been to Iraq. He works on harriers (which is a plane), and right now, he has a good chance of not having to go to Iraq... but of course, always has the possibly of being deployed on a ship.
I pray that he will never have to go... but he will if duty calls.
But thank you for being so supportive!

I have had a lot of military in my family as well. Great-Grandfather(Army/WWI), GrandFather(Navy/WWII), My Dad(Army/Korean), Uncles(Navy), Son (Army/OIF/Iraq), Nephew (Army/OEF/Afghanistan) and my sweet Daughter-in-law whom is married to my army son has had her husband (my son), her brother and her uncle in Iraq at the same time. Her dad was also a Vietnam and Desert Storm Vet. My good friends son has also been to Iraq and is about to be deployed again. Sounds like the both of us have strong family military ties! I know your as proud of yours as I am of mine. After being a military mom for almost 10 years now I sure feel a a lot of admiration, respect and love for all of those who serve.
I understand your concerns of always knowing that their is the possibility of your husband being deployed. I hope he doesn't go but if he does I know he will be dedicated to the task and do the Marines proud. My son is now in Germany and I know that there is a very strong possibilty of him being sent back within the year. I hope he doesn't but it will just have to wait and see.
I would love to see your hubby's pictures! Hopefully someone can help walk you thru posting them. I'm a little challenged in that area and others may be able to assist you better than I.
