Animal control and those volunteer groups who catch feral and stray dogs to find them homes are the ones to call when you need a frightened stray dog caught without the owner being present. You likely need someone who does this all the time like our Duck Team 6 in the Dallas area. Not in Fargo....they say you catch them and we'll come get them! I had a stray cat in my yard for 2 yrs and they said as soon as I could catch it they would get it...and they said they give them update shots and if its feral they just let it lose again. I said WHAT! you would bring it back to my neighborhood. They said yes what are we suppose to do with them. Hmm good thought they aren't put to sleep but I don't want a feral cat living under my porch!
