My instructor said sometimes fluoride wash I think she said is used on the teeth during a dental in at some vets but that it is really only helpful in puppies. I would imagine tap water wouldn't have toxic amounts in it. I also wonder if filers filter any of that out. I consider my pups my humans so I guess I got carried away with the human thing lol
