The first time we travelled for 5-6 days, we left Scottie with a friend of ours who also has a Yorkie. Now when we travel, I leave both of them with my mom. I find it so hard to trust anyone else. I would never let someone live in my home. And I've had bad experiences with kennels with my past dog.
