Actually, quite a few other countries are a lot more dog friendly than the US is! But, I've found quite a few dog friendly restaurants around the US. When I went to FL, nearly everywhere we went allowed dogs on the outdoor patios. This area is also super dog friendly especially around Annapolis etc. I've heard there are some places in Europe (don't know specifically) that allow dogs inside as well (US does not).

Traveling somewhat often with Jackson around the East Coast anyway has surprised me at how many dog friendly places there actually are! and sometimes honestly, ya just wing it. If I don't specifically see any no dog allowed signs and we're outside, it can't hurt to just go sit down and try. But it also helps that he is well behaved and just lays down under the table of course.
