Many years ago when I lived in the city my dog drank tap water, my pup was 6 years old when I moved to the country and we had well water. My pups poops were soft and mussy from the change in the water. I drove to my city job and would take a gallon jug, filled it with tap water several times a week, with the city tap water her poop was back to normal.
My adopted boy Cody has the same issue, he cannot drink well water, poop is soft and mussy, so he drinks only Poland Spring bottled water. I tried other brands of bottled water, they did not improve his poop and he didn't like those brands. I always thought bottled water was all the same, it must taste dif. to dogs that Cody wouldn't drink them. So it's Poland Spring ONLY for him.
