If she gets car sick try a booster seat. Cody is adopted, when I bought him home he threw up several times. I took him in the car a few times and he would get sick. So he only went in the car for vet visits which was quite often. Then I joined YT and discovered they sold booster seats for dogs. The one I got for him is elevated off the passenger seat. That was 3 1/2 years ago, he has not thrown up since then. In a booster seat they can see out of the window, and don't feel the motion of the car. It cost me a bit over $30. the best investment I ever made. My vet had also given me meds to be given 30 minutes he was to go in the car, I don't want to medicate my boy "just" to go in the car. I got mine in Pet Supplies.
