I don't think it's that way with all of them though. Callie came from a puppy mill so I doubt they had AKC on any of their dogs. I'm pretty sure the place the people who had Penny got her from a puppy mill too. I only use it as like a birth certificate any way it's not a huge deal to me unless I was trying to find a reputable breeder. I'm the island of misfit yorkies lol.
