I have a 22 week yorkie female named Trixie Firecracker. I have had her since January 2nd and she is not yet potty trained. I'm about to go crazy, because I feel like I have tried everything. She sleeps in her crate at night (which she hasn't had any accidents in) and during the day I either keep her in her playpen or I let her out when she can be supervised. At first she was going on the newspapers in her playpen, but then she just started shredding them. Then I did the outside thing, she will only pee outside. She won't poop though, she'll wait until I bring her back inside to poop. Also I never know when she's gotta poop, sometimes she goes right away and other times it can take her 12 hours to poop. I recently just got the doggie litter box to try and well that was a flop. She won't go to the bathroom in it....she sleeps in it!!! I found her sprawled out on her back with her legs up sleeping. I feel like a failure because I can't get her potty trained. My family and friends just laugh at me. Anyone have any suggestions?
