I agree with you completely but we do so want another Yorkie. The teenager will not be left alone with this dog no matter what.

Thanks for the suggestions. Believe it or not my friend is still dealing with the bogus person. As you might expect he is now saying the insurance is expired, his mistake, and was asking for more money. We have no intention of paying another dime out here. As I have told my friend there is no dog. I know it is very hard for her to understand that or to stop thinking of that cute photo but what I believe is that this dog, if there really is one, came from a puppy mill.

As you noted using a breeder locally where you can see the dog is the best. I just wish there was a way to take this person down and get his bogus ads offline. That is the thing about the internet, anyone can put up anything they want and hijacking a breeder name is easy it seems and of course having various phones to try and indicate different people is also easy to do.
