Hello all. I am new here and have no idea where or how to start. It has been so long since I was part of a forum I have completely forgotten how to go about posting and where to begin.

I live in San Diego and I had two Yorkies in the house at one time when I first joined. Unfortunately the landlord didn't want to keep Baby here so she was given away. We still had Mister then and what a joy he was. Sweetest little guy you'd ever want to meet. Since this is a Yorkie site I know all of you know what I mean. These little dogs are truly a gift.

Mister passed on last year when he was left outside by the teenager in the house and coyotes got him. We were brokenhearted as you can imagine. Even now it hurts to think about him.

We have been trying recently to get another Yorkie and one of the reasons I'm here is to warn anyone else about scam breeders. I am sure that most of you are veterans of buying these little guys but the lady I shared the Yorkies with was not. She found a site, blumoon yorkies in Virginia and thought she had a good deal. It appears that this site is bogus. I know there is a blumoon yorkies in Kansas and they are legit but this one is not. She paid the money for the dog and so far has never seen any indication that she is going to get this dog. In fact she was asked to pay more money out yesterday for a carrier in order to get the dog. Advised her not to do it but she went ahead and so far again nothing.

My question here is how do you Yorkie lovers manage to avoid such pitfalls? I have found no complaints about this person in Virginia and I have found that somewhat odd as I am sure they have scammed many people.

We truly want another Yorkie but are unsure how to do it properly. Mister changed my life when he arrived and I can't imagine not having a Yorkie in the house so I decided to get active here and ask the people who know Yorkies best for help.

I'd love to be able to share photos once again of these treasures and find out how to protect myself from people cheating people of money and these dogs.
