I live in NYC, so it costs me about $40, at the very least. That includes: shampoo, condition, drying, combing, haircut, nails, ears, glands. Honestly, I have had Archie groomed twice---once when he was about 6 months old, and yesterday (he's going to be 1 next week!!). I think that in the future, I would really just pay for the nails, ears and glands which shouldn't be more that $20. Other than that, I just throw Archie into the tub and give him a bath a couple times a month. As for haircuts, I just want the hair out of his eyes. I can do it myself, but since it's his birthday, I wanted it to be done professionally.
