I have Nationwide pet insurance and could not be happier. I chose the more expensive whole health with wellness. I pay $74/mo for each of my boys. There is a $100 deductable and 90% reimbursement (I think it is around $65/mo with $200 deductable). Everything is covered and I get a check within 2 weeks. All of their wellness, heartworm, flea and tick prevention meds, shots, any illness, neuter, x-rays, all bloodwork ect. I do not worry about what I will do if something happens to my babies. Yes I pay for it but it is absolutely worth it. With their puppy appointments/shots, neuter and one trip to the vet when one was sick, I saved over $1000 last year. Will this happen every year, probably not but I rather pay a little every month for that peace of mind.
