I have not had personal experience with rupturinga uterus but it has happened to another breeder. The cervix MUST be dilated and the whelper-helper must know how to do an internal exam. If your vet says it is okay to use, who will calculate the does(s)? Will the vet let you come into his/her office and administer the oxy the first time you use it so you can learn the difference between giving IM and suq-Q? And, then, montor the situation with you til at least one puppy is born after the injection?
As you can guess, I have concerns about proper use of it. And, BTW, I do use it and I did stay all afternoon in my vet's office the first time I gave it. And, I am a nurse with a hundred years experience but it still makes me nervous..
