Try this ,get him to sit then once he is sitting take a treat in one hand clicker in the other keep the hand with the treat on the ground and then slide it forward , as he is sitting his bottom should stay on the ground and then the rest should follow as soon as he down then click . Keep doing this then start introducing the down word . Good luck it takes lots of pratice, and if he does not get it ,finish up with something he can do so you end up with a positive thing.
