I agree with above postings, I have gone through this numerous times with each new puppy I bought home with my older girls, although they did not show signs of aggression, they stayed away from the puppy, it took 6 to 8 weeks for them to accept the new kid, before they would stay on the floor with her. I kept the puppy in a safe gated area when I could not supervise them. It just takes time for most only child fur kids to accept a new kid, you will see, shortly they will become BFF. Show your boy more attention, make him first in everything, first to be greeted when you return home, first one to have his bowl of food, first one to get a treat.
