Just wipe them down when they get back indoors.
And our grass grows SO fast, and at only 9" at the withers, this time of the year Tibbe can be shoulder-deep in it 3 - 4 days after the last mowing and I'm sure his hair just collects whatever has deposited right onto the grass from the air as he goes through it many a time during his backyard visits. I've tried wiping him down after outside, but also wondered if the medication in the dab of shampoo doesn't also help his body's allergic reaction and produce less goopy tears.
