As though it is not bad enough having a mom who is going through such a terrible time, you have to put up with these two jerks just to top it all off.
I am so sorry for your situation, but there is no way I would just do nothing about it if it were me. They need to quit treating people this way, and the only way that will happen is if someone is brave enough to stand up and give it to them. I know you are going through a lot right now, so my thought is to document the conversation as closely as you can, sign and date it, and forward to the proper person at corporation. Keep a copy, and mail it with "return receipt requested". Let them know that due to your family situation you do not have the energy or the time to pursue a formal complaint, but you thought that someone in authority should know that you feel your rights have been violated by this conversation, and you may pursue it in the future.
