My first Yorkie RIP had a terrible mouth. I took him to a doggie dentist specialist. This Doctor was amazing. What she did was take pictures first, with the help from assistants, uploaded them to the computer and WOW it was so shocking. She explained exactly which tooth needed to come out, how his bones would be built up with some kind of bone building material, all of that sealed and gums sewn. After, he was put on play rest for about 2 weeks, but he ate real well.
So happy we did this for our messed up baby's mouth. But you don't want to know how much it cost. Ugh!
Oh, and repeated X-rays to monitor bone healing Ugh!
