Let him go a week after a bath, even with once or twice daily clear-water eye cleaning and face-washing, the boogies get progressively worse daily. If I wait 2 weeks between baths, his eyes are pretty boogied up mornings despite how many clear-water eye cleaning the day before.

But if I use a drop or two of his prescription shampoo to wash around his eyes every other day, followed with rinsing, even if it's been a week or even two since a bath, his boogies are either absent or tiny despite the season or diet. Anybody else noticed that?
Not sure but maybe it's that their fur is picking up the pollens and allergens and they're living with it 24/7?

Just wipe them down when they get back indoors.
