Default Vaccination Advice

Hello all!

I'm very new to this forum, as I've just made my profile a couple days ago. However, wayyyy before I even thought I'd be actually getting a Yorkie, I discovered this forum and have been lurking on and off because I was always interested in this adorable breed. I'm not new to the world of being a dog parent, since I had my first dog for ten years before she passed, and now I have a boy (not a Yorkie) who I've had since he was 10 weeks old and he'll now be 3 years old in July! However, I am new to being a Yorkie mom and I'm super glad that this community exists so that I can ask questions and get advice first hand!

So, I'm getting my new Yorkie girl in July and I'm extremely excited! However, I've had some bad experiences with vaccinations with my boy, so I'm very cautious with vaccinations now. The problem is, though, that his vet gives a lot of them together at the same time so I don't really know which ones to blame for any side effects. The only one I know I'm never giving any of my dogs again is the Lyme one, because it made him EXTREMELY sore and he wouldn't even try to walk for a few days because it would hurt him and even when I picked him up to move him, he cried. It broke my heart. So after that I've never given him that shot and absolutely will never do it again. However, he's become afraid of all of the areas of my house that have hard flooring as opposed to carpet, when he was never like that before and no incidents ever happened to him in my home (I'm completely sure that nothing happened to make him scared). He started exhibiting this after he got his vaccinations, but again, I don't know which one to blame. I'm thinking rabies but I can't be 100% sure.

So now, I'm just wondering if you guys have any vaccines that you stay away from when it comes to your babies, and why? I don't want to hurt her by trying to protect her like I feel like I did with my boy unknowingly (and I'd stop giving them to my boy as well). Any and all responses would be greatly appreciated.
