there is one thing you need to about us Irish....we boil the crap out of everything! You just cut up cabbage and throw it in a big pot of water, along with peeled, cut up potatoes and the corned beef. When the cabbage and potatoes are soft you drain most of the water off....and there it is! At least that is how my mom and grandma made it. They didn't actuallly use corned beef, they used ham, because neither one of them liked corned beef. Don't forget the green beer! |
