My Lucy is on Vetmedin, she started off with one tablet but had to go onto two a day. She also takes Prilium (imidapril) and Furozenol(diuretic). She was diagnosed around a year ago and is doing fine. She plays a lot during the day and her appetite is great. I take her for regular vet visits to check up on her. I don't like giving her meds but I'm not sure what else to do. She sleeps all night without coughing. Lucy is a rescue I'm not sure how old she is but the vet reckons she must be around 9 or 10. I'm sure one dog varies from another and requires different treatment sometimes, what one med may be good for one dog may not be good for another. I also have an old cat with heart failure, she's on Fortekor. |
