I agree that it would be more of a "hobby" breeder than a back yard breeder. In all honesty, if we didn't have hobby breeders, where would we get our dogs?

I tried to go through a show breeder and they wouldn't let me buy one of their puppies, I went through a hobby breeder and they checked my references and interviewed my family before making a decision. (my husband did all the dirty work on that one) and I ended up with my adorable Tia.

I personally said (in the other thread) that I would not breed without showing. This is because I have an interest in dog shows and would like to have experienced them before breeding.
