 Face AND heel?
What in the heck? I missed her first training session (she's had several and still has more to go) back, so hubby went. He is no help. I have to say face then stay, then heel? She's used to getting treats after each command while learning.
My labs growing up were extremely well trained, but we had them live with the trainer for around 4 months each time, so this is a learning experience for me. I'm doing what the instructions are telling me and she's just getting caught up on face, poor little gal. I know it's not just wanting a treat each time, but the fact Face is like watch which she knows already.
Canana- your suggestions on lay were spot on, so I'm hoping you can give me another winning suggestion. She's so super bright, so I'm sure it's just conflicting issues. |
