Hello everyone! I am a new mommy to a beautiful male yorkie. Sooo cute! Today he got his bordetella and distemper shot! OMG she cried sooo bad as he got his shot
Afterward, my boyfriend & I carried him to The Healthy Spot to get him a treat, put him to rest for about an hour, & when I picked him up again... WPWZERS! Such a LOUD yelp. It hurt my ears to be honest! I called his doctor they said it's normal & could last up to 24/48 hrs. To make matters worse they close tomorrow (Sunday). I don't mind taking him to my local doggy hospital, but is this normal for such a small dog?
I've had maltese but this was never an issue. Ugh! I don't even want to move him. This happened at 10:30am & right now (9:00pm) he was walking with a little limp.
PLEASE! If anyone has experienced this before let me know to call me down a bit
