You poor thing. What you're going through is pure hell on earth and we go through it every time we loose a beloved member of our family, our furry soul mate, our best friend. Grief knows no time limit, just misery and much remembering, constantly replaying the last days with them in our minds, the last time we saw them, the horror, guilt because we couldn't help them get well and is nothing but pure pain. How can we go on when our world has crashed and burned? I don't know but we do.

Cry all your need, face the pain down if you want or avoid it as much as you can, talk about Bobbie here and with others. Treat yourself to whatever you want right now. If you your cannot eat, just get down fluids or if you eat nonstop and want to live on nothing but iced coffeecake and diet cola or or walk incessantly or sleep constantly to avoid the pain, do what you feel like doing right now. Baby yourself.

If you can't sleep, you'll feel worse and eventually get sick so consult a professional. Highly educated, wise people spend 1/5+ of their lifetimes studying how to help those in psychological pain so help is out there. There are pet death help groups online and in many large cities where you can actually go for group therapy.

You will one day soon begin to feel better and don't feel guilty when you do. Bobbie wouldn't want that and would want you to be happy again. He left you with all of his love and a lifetime of wonderful memories and you will always have him. One day, when you are ready, you'll no doubt want that Bobbie-type of love again, will need another furry soul mate. Eventually or relatively soon if you can manage, giving a loving home to another little one who badly needs one, will make you feel good again.
