Omg - I SO get this!
My Marcel almost died from choking years ago - and to this day, I can barely even think about it...he was literally dying in my hands. Luckily, the Heimlich worked eventually and he started breathing again...but it was really a miracle that he made it.
We have the CPR/Heimlich thread here in the ER section as a sticky - and in the Library as well - if you ever want to print it. Also, me and hubby took a doggie First Aid/CPR course at the Red Cross.
