He didn't seem too concerned with the gassyness...just made a comment about how much was present. I asked what caused it and he said more than likely it was due to the melena, but then again it could be his food which we won't know for sure until we get him back on his reg diet to see if something else caused the initial problems. I'm thinking of changing his food too though.
