Hi Yorkie Lovers and Owners!

Call me naive, but I have only recently heard of tale docking. I guess it never came up with dogs I've had in the past. I would like to post an article/video on the issue on my new blog (The New Yorkie Times - yorkiepride.com), but am trying to decide if I'd like to stand on a particular side of the fence.

Some say that this made sense in the past since the terrier was a hunting animal to prevent injury, but nowadays is totally unnecessary because most owners have them as companions -- and docking in those cases is just for looks.

I don't stand in judgement but am hoping for feedback. What do you all think? Anyone have experience on the matter? Thanks!
