We had Bella groomed at Petsmart yesterday, and normally she tolerates it very well, but this morning we found out that Bella threw up considerably in the night (all of the food from her before-bedtime feeding), and when we took her to her potty pad, she had very liquid and extremely stinky diarrhea. No blood, thank goodness. Despite all of this, she still seems to have energy. She drank water and threw that up shortly afterwards, but then she ate some food and drank some more water and has held that down for a couple of hours so far. We called the vet and they said that it *sounds* like a stomach virus, and the most important thing is to keep her hydrated. Since she held down her food and water for now, we are keeping her at home under observation. I'm impressed by her resilience. If she gets lethargic or continues to throw up, they said to bring her in for tests. Keeping fingers crossed for Bella. I will update this later with her progress.
