I don't like to scare people but I have to say I think it would be very dangerous to have her hooked to the belt with a collar. In an accident she could be flung forward, the collar will stop her at the neck but her body will still keep going. I think that could easily break her neck. Again, I don't mean to scare you but a harness is much safer whenever you have to take her in the car.
