I think with any breed, some are prone to more issues than others. Depends on the quality of the breeder. Sounds like you have been dealt a tough one. Glad to hear that he was able to be saved with the stent. I lost my 3 yr old to severe collapsed trachea and I would have done anything to save him. But the stent wasn't an option for us. The collapse was down too far by the bronchi. I've read lots of articles on the torn acl and some say surgery and more say strict restriction and crate rest works just as good. Good luck!! Don't be deterred from the breed! I have a 16 year old that has had no issues his whole life and still going strong!
