We have the same ritual except it is in the morning. I get out of bed and pick up Max under my left arm I will reach for Sasha and she will sit back on her hind legs and just fall backwards on the blanket! She lays there with feet up and gets her belly rubbed every morning. I call it the Sasha flop!
