True, would it be okay to just do that when and only when I go to sleep? At least until I manage to train her to the point I could be comfortable about leaving her wander without fearing that she may get hurt or better proof my room?

I was thinking of getting her a few bully sticks- are they actually 100% safe for them? Does it pose any choking hazard? What do you even do when a dog is choking? is there a Heimlich maneuver for dogs?
