If cost is an issue you might contact your local Human Society. Some of them teach basic obedience classes and you may be able to get a better price for a class - that is if Petsmart classes are too costly.
Secondarily, are you. Able to,provide enough exercise for your pup? This has a lot to do with expending energy and stimulus. Not all Yorkie's are yippies or barkers.
