Our Spenser had bladder surgery in January. He had stones in his bladder and small ones heading down the uretha. The surgery went very well and he returned happy and wanting to rest, but not in any obvious pain. The stones were sent to the University of Minnesota. The report said they were the common calcium oxilate stones. The biggest change was his diet. He is limited exclusively to Verternary Formula Royal Canine. Urinary SO. The only treats are made of the same formula. No problem. Spenser loves it and he had no bowel problems with it. Having other dogs who we give treats causes us to keep a bowl of his kibble next to the others treats and we use those.

Wishing all the best.

Cheers,
Gew
