I just found out this afternoon that my daughter brought Toby (before he was diagnosed with Parvo) over to the house to meet my dogs while I was at work. My dogs are both current on vaccines but I was wondering if they can still get parvo from the pup. Also, what is the best way to clean my carpets? I have bleached or thrown away everything else but I'm not sure how to decontaminate my carpets and haven't been able to find it online. I want to do my best to get everything as clean as possible. I have read that it's very difficult to kill the virus and that it can live for months on surfaces and in the yard.
