I think Rowdy would be classified as calm - he gets very exicted when we come home - but he playes quietly or sits beside my hubby most of the time. Of course, that may all change now that we have a brother - Rex and they are beginning to play. We'll see - but I do think Rowdy is very calm for a little dog.
I also think his mom and dad were pretty calm too - the breeder has 6 Yorkies
but only one unfixed male and female. They are all just about as calm as can be when we go over there. So, I think that Rowdy comes from calm stock. I guess we named him incorrectly!
We didn't choose Rowdy though, because he was overly active - we just liked the name.
