I have been really concerned and trying to think about this all day. If he was on crate rest like he is supposed to be after his surgery he should not have sprained his hip and if the surgeon checked him out as well as he should have before the surgery it should have been found then if it was their before the surgery. Something just is not seeming right to me. I think I would get a second opinion ASAP. It just is adding up first a surgeon that would do a surgery on a dog with an infection (Lyme), then puts on the papers for you to sign that it might have to be redone, then he is still in pain enough to cry out after 3 weeks, and then its discovered he has a sprained hip. That's just not seeming to add up.
