In every community, we should really strive to tolerate as many differences as possible...every single one of us is so vastly different from the other. It's important that we at least try to have calm, respectful, open communication with those in agreement with us, as well as with those who stand for everything we are not. It's not easy; we all know that.

But the only real way toward change or growth, really, is thru learning and communication. Without that, we're going nowhere.

It's 100% okay to post here, anywhere here, and say "I vehemently disagree with everything you're doing, everything you're about" -- those feelings are totally okay. One should absolutely stand up for what they believe in here (as long as the general YT rules are followed)! Even more so because we're talking about living, breathing, precious creatures here at YT.

This board is owned by Admin, and the spirit of this board has *always* been to allow its members to be as open as possible. To be able to post almost anything (within reason/rules) and find some sort of discussion or guidance here from other members, even on the most sensitive subjects. That Admin has always pushed for maintaining that kind of openness and tolerance should speak volumes for the kind of integrity that is behind everything this board strives to be.

Members may not always agree with the decisions made here. Members may get angry as heck. Members may also say things in the heat of the moment (hi self! ). It's all okay, really. This is a community...there will be differences, there will be conflict, there will be growth, there will be change, there will be things that stay the same.

The bottom line is really: let's all work harder to accept where each of is at in life. We are where we are! Let's try to lift each other up, rather than tear each other down. Let's just try harder to tolerate our differences, even when those differences make us want tear our hair out !

Deep breaths! Carry on !

Thank you, Ann, for your beautiful, level head as always.

Regarding opinions regarding my opinion and with all due respect, I'm not interested. I do not require external validation of my opinions which probably sounds harsh and arrogant in type but it's not meant to be as it's merely fact.

Under normal circumstances and as has previously been demonstrated, I consider myself an extremely confident but fair and objective person. However, as is probably glaringly apparent, I am upset and angry that members have requested pics etc. of this puppy all the while minimizing the fact that it has potentially come from an overseas puppy mill in an effort to appease a misguided humans feelings. Further to that, I am disappointed that more people have not come on here to state, explicitly, why puppy mills should not be supported by ANYONE. I do not agree with this method for obtaining Yorkshire Terriers or any other animal and no amount of persuasion will change that stance. In reality, I believe this website should be a beacon of education as this post will no doubt be stored in archives at some point and it would be a shame if it was used as justification by others to obtain puppies using dubious methods on the basis that some people have expressed that it's ok when it absolutely is not. Hence, my comment made regarding donations etc.

As I stated before, I wish the puppy luck and hope that no one else chooses this method for obtaining puppies or any other animal under the impression that it is condoned. That is all I have to say - thank you!
