Like Wyliesmom said , it is so nice to hear folks giving thoughtful though to future breeding. And, like Lovestodream pointed out dog shows are key places and people to talk with.
What I have learned is that the really good and successful breeders have been doing it for decades! So if you have a breeding potential one needs to hook up with those vastly experienced folks. To do that you are going to need the geniology of your pup for a number of generations. Without that you won't get much discussion with these mentors.
It, it sounds like these folks are thinking ahead and are interested in being the kind of breeders we need for our breed. Keep it up! You are the future!!!
