Everyone has to start somewhere. & yes she has had a proper check up. My aunt breeds yorkies and gifted me her on my birthday 3 years ago. She sired her for me because I wanted another yorkie. She is in great health. My aunt has her grandmother(She is fixed now) The vet reminded me that just because she's a few pounds over standard doesn't mean anything. The standard is basically for shows and breeders who plan to make a profit. I am neither.
There really isn't such a thing as a hypoallergenic dog. All dogs have dander and that is what people are allergic too. Vets are actually not always the best resource for breeding standards. See if we have all these people who don't breed standard dogs then the yorkie will eventually not look like the yorkie anymore. I find it starange if your aunt was a good breeder that she be ok with you breeding off standard and with a male the same weight.
