I am interested also. I have a male and I'd like to find him a mate one day. He's only 3, so I'm in no rush. My daughter will be going to college in a few years and I'll be one of those "empty nesters" so I think that may be my time to find a female. I've breed bloodhound puppies before and it's not something I want to make a career out of, but I would like to have a litter or two eventually.
I am trying to do research now so that when I'm ready, and can give my full attention to the situation, I can start.
Where would I find a "mentor"? I'm sure on this site, but I'd like to find one in NC. Thanks!
