I wasn't even a dog person. I was a cat person and had cats my entire life. I can't remember a time when a cat wasn't part of my household.

My neighbhor had gotten a yorkie and at first the little thing got on my nerves. Miss Jasmine always wanted to play fetch and she just wouldn't leave me alone every time I went over my neighbors house. Well my neighbor got a new position that require her to travel a lot more. By this time, Miss Jasmine had wiggled her way into my heart and I feel in love with the breed. My neighbor knew I was an animal lover and she only trusted me with her yorkie whenever she needed to travel.

Needless to say, that yorkie turned my life upside down. She was so affectionate and loving and playful. When my neighbor moved, I missed Jasmine so much I went out a got my own yorkie......a rescued name Brandi. Brandi has since died and of course, I adopted another yorkie.....Miss Duchess, who is a more of a terror than a terrier
The rest is history.
