I got a yorkie after my cocker spaniels died. They were small enough to travel with, okay with allergies and we were apartment dwellers so it seemed ideal. Troy came home as a puppy and lived 4 years until he fell ill. We got a second (Emma) because we had such a good experience with Troy.
