Why yorkies? I want to hear why other like yorkies, how you found this incredible breed?


My story? Well I was young. My parent had 2 dogs, a Silky (yorkie/Australian terrier mix) & a Shih Tzu.


A guy who worked for a phone company found a little dog tied up in a parking lot while working. He took the dog home, but couldn't keep it.
He had a german shepard & his sister had 4 cats. This yorkie loved to chase the cats.


He told store owners if anyone was looking for a dog to contact him.
We did, & I saw the dog who would be my best friend as soon as our eyes locked. I knew he was the dog! My dog!


We spent a long time together. We were the bestest of friends.
I had to train him big time. Eventually I was even able to walk him without a leash. He was loyal & obedient.


Sadly he passed a few years ago. But the story doesn't end.
I had adopted a maltese pup from a rescue called S.A.F.E. in Tuscon, Az.
My yorkie raise him like he was his own.


I called him the white yorkie.
